Out with the Old (Misty City Gradebook), In with the New (ANGEL Gradebook)

Misty City Grade Book is no longer supported by the software vendor. The College has adopted ANGEL as our learning management system and it includes a Grade Book with functionality that matches Misty City. You don't need to use all the features in ANGEL, you can use just the Grade Book to:

  • record student grades,
  • post grades for students to view (each student logs in so they can only see their own grades) and
  • calculate final grades.

Further, you'll no longer need to download a roster and import students into your Grade Book. They'll be automatically added and dropped based on activity in Banner. Every credit course at JCCC automatically has an ANGEL course shell created, so you need to do nothing more than use it (no form to fill out or request to make).

In this session, you'll see an overview of the ANGEL Grade Book and see how it can be setup to record grades for your students.
