Getting started

If this is your first Blackboard course, I advise attending one of the general orientation sessions offered on the JCCC campus. Before the class starts, students will receive an email to their JCCC student email address. This email will have the syllabus and a welcome letter from the professor.

Tests

All tests and quizzes are administered online through Blackboard.

Self-paced or deadlines

Deadlines are set for assignments, quizzes, tests, discussion questions.

Frequency of course access

Students will need to access Blackboard several times a week as well as participate in online discussions, as scheduled.

Basic online format

Students will use information from textbook, as well as information from the website. All assignments and tests shall be accessed and submitted through Blackboard.

Textbooks

There is a textbook for the course. Textbook information is available online at the JCCC Bookstore.
