BOT 115: Electronic Calculators; Cherie Kennedy
- Getting started
- Students must send the instructor an email through their Blackboard account to establish a communication link.
- On-Campus Class Meetings
- None
- Tests
- Timed tests can be accessed and submitted through Blackboard.
- Self-paced or deadlines
- This is a short, five-week course. Students can work at their own pace, but they must be finished with all assignments, timed writings, and tests by the ending date of the course.
- Frequency of course access
- Check daily for emails and discussion postings.
- Basic online format
- Assignments will be accessed and submitted through Blackboard. Online discussions and/or chats are not required.
- Textbooks
- There is one workbook required. In addition, the student must have an electronic printing desktop calculator and a timer that can be set for at least 5 minutes. The student may use the calculators located in the GEB computer labs when the labs are NOT being used by classes.
- Computer skills required
- Basic computer skills and a working knowledge of Blackboard is required. Students should plan to attend the distance learning orientation session offered before classes begin each semester if they are unsure of how to utilize Blackboard.
