Getting started

The students will attend a 3-hour session about Blackboard and all the requirements will be explained at that time. This date will be given to them at the time of registration.

On-Campus Class Meetings

This course will require the student to meet at the Kings Cove Campus on the assigned class day.

Self-paced or deadlines

They will have a specific time frame in which assignments must be completed.

Frequency of course access

They should access the online course daily.

Basic online format

All assignments are completed through Blackboard.

Textbooks

Yes they must purchase the textbook. Textbook information is available online at the JCCC Bookstore.

Computer skills required

They must know how to access Blackboard. This will be explained in the first session. They must have a computer that is compatible. They can get this information from the Ed tech center.
