Getting started
Students log in to Blackboard (online.jccc.edu) at the start of the semester to access course materials. Distance Learning Orientation materials are also available at students.jccc.edu/dlorientation

Tests
There are 4 exams and one Final. Exams are taken through Blackboard from any location. Each exam is made available for a limited window of time and students have on the average 90 minutes to complete them once the student starts the exam. Students taking

The course is arranged in time. Assignments are available or due at specific times according to the Class Schedule.
Frequency of course access
Students who are successful access the site at least 3-4 times per week.
Basic online format
There are required chats and/or discussions. There are also on-line homework for each chapter covered and two article summaries. The article summaries are submitted via the Assignment Drop Box.
Textbooks
Yes. Textbook information is available online at the JCCC Bookstore.
Computer skills required
