- Getting started
- You are advised to email the instructor one week before class begins. Once the Blackboard page is available read the welcome letter and syllabus in your email.
- On-Campus Class Meetings
- There are no on-campus meetings.
- Tests
- Four exams will be given. They are taken online in the Assessments feature of the Blackboard course page.
- Self-paced or deadlines
- This class is deadline driven. Posts to the discussion list and exams must be taken within a specific time frame; see course calendar.
- Frequency of course access
- Students must access the course one to two times a week.
- Basic online format
- Students use a secure Web site, which provides a schedule, supplemental materials, quizzes, and exams. Students participate in on-line discussion groups throughout the semester.

- Computer skills required
- Email, basic web browsing, Blackboard.
