ADMJ 124: Criminal Justice & Corrections; Kay King
- Getting started
- Welcome to class. You do not need to contact me prior to the beginning of the semester. It is recommended that you purchase the text from the JCCC bookstore. You are strongly encouraged to attend a Distance Learning orientation. After the semester begins, please contact me ONLY through Blackboard.
- On-Campus Class Meetings
- All requirement including exams and chats are online; the student is not required to come on campus.
- Tests
- All exams and online.
- Self-paced or deadlines
- This is not a self-paced course. Students will be required to attend online chats at specific times (there will be several options for the chats). Other course requirements are due at specific dates/times.
- Frequency of course access
- The student is encouraged to access the course frequently (4 or more times per week).
- Basic online format
- There are assigned readings, chats, discussions & assignments.
- Textbooks
- Textbook information is available online at the JCCC Bookstore.
- Computer skills required
- Basic word processing skills. The course requires Microsoft Word for completion of assignments (Wordpad, WordPerfect and other programs are NOT permitted for required assignments).
