Our department, located in the GEB 151 and OCB 261 office suites and in CLB 428, offers a selection of basic sociology courses. If you are planning on transferring to a four-year college or university, it is likely that any sociology courses you complete satisfactorily at Johnson County Community College will be accepted.
Whether you are considering a major in sociology, or if, like many students, you intend to take only one or two sociology courses, we think you will find value in the knowledge you gain of society, culture, and people.
